To become a member and qualify to bear the distinctive Food & Drink Devon green heart brand, producers have to pass a quality test, and this has shown through in the many Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners in the 2011 Taste of the West Awards.  Gold award winners are:

Expo heralds new DEAL for city
The Food Plymouth Expo, an exciting new Plymouth trade show, is on at the Plymouth Guildhall this Wednesday 27th March, with over 60 food producers and support organisations exhibiting; including fresh fish, meat, pasties, fruit and veg, along with a range of other innovative and tasty local food products. Organisers are expecting around 250 visitors, amongst them many of the region’s leading restaurants and hotels, along with other key food buyers from within the city, including those from Plymouth’s schools, colleges and University.
